Just something about those Hondas. I used to have a civic that I crammed stuff in all the time. One summer after college was done, I fit the entire contents of my dorm room (including a stereo rack system and two huge loudspeakers), 20" TV, microwave, etc etc etc.
I had to drive with my arm resting on one of the speakers, and couldn't see out any windows except my driver's side. Safe, eh?
Now I drive a VW passat wagon. I've outfitted it with a class III hitch & a roof rack. Last summer I built my garden shed & used the Vdub to transport all the lumber & supplies -- including the 16' 2x6 ridge beam, strapped to the roof rack.
In January, I picked up a Double Dragon cab & a Rolling Thunder cab shell. The rolling thunder fit in the car, the Double Dragon cab rode behind in a utility trailer. I was pretty impressed to see the cab fit, with the hatch closed, and enough room for a passenger.
I'm never letting go of this car. Say what you want about pickup trucks, but I get 30+ miles to the gallon on my ride, and my trailer carries everything a truck bed could and more.
How's the learning about the vector monitor going?
