Plug connector abbreviations

I've been rewiring some of the connectors on my Bally Space Invaders and checking that the right wires are in the right place as I've been going along.

I'm using the plug connectors schematic but am a little stuck with some of the notes. I'm doing the Transformer J1 right now but am not sure what the following are;

GEN ILL RET (PLAYFIELD)
GEN ILL RET
GEN ILL BUS
SOL BUSS (PLAYFIELD)
SW ILL BUSS
GEN ILL BUS

Some of the wires to the J1 are not the right colour so I need to buzz them with my DMM but not sure where to start looking for the above listed things to do this.

Any help appreciated.
