Music during gameplay?

I'm running Mamewah and have a ton of tunes loaded that play while the front end is running - but they cut out when a game starts. Is there a way to keep the music playing during gameplay?

I think all frontends do that due it can been very annoying when mp3 music and music from the game play simulations. I do that as well in MultiFE as well many other frontends.
Instead there exists a third part application that can do what you want:
http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/Utilities#Audio_Tools
and look for Ambience
