It did make it, its just that the jpg didn't get posted for some reason.  Just look closely at the subheadings for spiderman.  There's also a chun-li eps without a jpg preview. Hopefully the site will back to normal soon. ;D

That is a very nice job. Are you taking the original and dropping it in Illustrator or using streamline or something? I am primarily using Photoshop as I use it for a living but the only vector work I've really done was in 3ds max and I believe I used Flash in the past.

Any info would be great as I can contribute.

Thanks

Using the original flyer and tracing in illustrator.  Photoshop is the best, but vector is better for scaling images without loss of  resolution. Here is another one.

Superman, looks great. SO you initially manually select all inked areas and then fill with balck and then drop color in the other open areas?

Looks good, Is there any way to cheat when selecting via magic wand ,streamline etc.

Nice job

I don't select anything, I do all the vectorizing in illustrator.
I take flyer or image and open it in illustrator and use it as a template.  Pretty much just trace it starting with the black, on a seperate layer and then add color in another layer. Frostillucus wrote a great tutorial on vector drawing and tracing.  its in the artwork section on this site.  I wouldn't recommend streamline unless you need a quick turnaround  and only if the original is clean and probably in b/w.

When I offered to do this I had no idea there would be this response and this much added to it. You guys amaze me.

Over the next week expect to see some changes in the layout of it, and the categories to try and make browsing it a bit easier.

I'll also create the missing jpg files so they show up. They must have gotten lost during the upload when the server hiccuped. What do you expect from Dell?
