Dance Pad build for cabinet

I'm just starting to build a metal dance pad using the ddrhomepad plans so I can play stepmania on my cabinet.  I'm wondering how many people have done this and if they can offer some advice.

First off, I AM NO EXPERT, and I haven't attempted this, and I've done some Q&DT (Quick-n-Dirty-Tech) that has worked out fine...here are my suggests/opinions/etc.

Why are you doing lights?

No reason in particular.  I know that some pads have them, and I thought it would be easy to add and not to expensive.  Its not that I have to have them, but I think it would be a neat addition.  If I need a separate power supply and whatever for them, then I don't think I will go ahead with putting them in, but if I can just run them off an IPAC switch circuit, why not?  Most of the superbright LEDs only pull around 20 milli-Amps, but I'm not sure if if thats too much for the IPAC.

I had some free time at work - made new arrows in VECTOR format.  They are uploaded to the vector library.

I'll work on the green arrows and the other ones next week.  Time for a Holiday!!

It's an EPS - I know it says ".ps"  Your computer thinks it's just a  postscript file.  If you had Acrobat Distiller it would turn it into a PDF.

Anyway - just drag it into Illustrator or another vector program.  Might work in photoshop.

I believe gimp can handle it too.  If I remember I needed a plugin to do it though.
