What do you think of this?

My two cents:

A forum on its own probably wouldn't get as many page views, and I know that I'm guilty of skipping past the stickied threads usually. The current setup seems fine to me.

Mm. Maybe I'll go ahead an ask in Main, as I never come here - except to've posted this idea - and I bet most others don't, either.

Post it here and follow the details in the link above.

My two cents:  I'll never visit it as I don't want to weep in sorrow about how badly my scores are.   ;)

Or do what you want regardless of what the site owner says....  ::)

I've got to say that the way your thread is structured, or the lack thereof, in the Main forum pretty much means it's going to be a free for all.  I can't see there being much value.  IF it gets to 4 or 5 pages, do you really expect people to muddle through all of it for tips or hints?

Pretty pointless if you ask me.

Similar attempts on other boards seem to fail with regularity as they become a free-for-all, but who knows ?

FWIW, I really like reading the various competition threads and seeing other folks' scores and thoughts about that specific game.

If anything should be stickied, I think it should be a single post (or maybe one post per competition) indexing those threads -- an easy way to get at all of the threads from a single launch point.

That's why when I started competition number 14, I included links to all the previous competitions. It was sorely missing from the other threads.
