Launching “Kawaks” in Mala

I am unable to get the roms to load up in Kawaks when launched from Mala.

I thought there would be an easy answer to this but my searches on this forum and on Google are coming up with nothing.

I know for  “Nebula” you have to have  %rom%  typed in the command line before the games will launch.

How do you guys get Kawaks to work with MALA ???

Thanks,

Is there no way to launch Kawaks in Mala yet?

This makes me sad. I downloaded saint's edit.  NO ROM LINKS! Rule #5! , all the Neo geo games work in Kawaks 1.59. Even the hard games to get working like Metal Slug 4, The King of Fighters 2001 and Sengoku 3 all work. Only thing stopping me from having every single NEO GEO game on my cab is I can’t get them to launch in Mala.  :badmood:

Does not sound like a mala problem.

You need to ensure you have the right rom set for the mame version you are using.

fallacy: dont break rule 5 (no romlinks allowered)......

Kawaks in the lastest version is not arcade cabinet friendly at all and I could never got it to run from commandline (due it propenty not have a commandline support at all, which is a shame). hence I gave up supporting this one and use MAME instead. I hope a wrapper can do that better.
