Worth $250?

He says it works except for the display,  which he'll include a new PinScore display that has never been installed...

What say you?

Um, yeah!

I mean there is going to be a lot of time involved (& a little bit more money) in that one but for $250 I'd find the time/money necessary.

Secret service, yay a DE machine (I am partial to those for some reason).

Wait, if that machine is anywhere near me I retract my advice for selfish reasons.

i would buy it. cabinet is a bit beat up. but it really depends on what youre looking for. I love fixer uppers. But I'll also take into consideration what needs to be put into the machine and if its worth it to me.

I'd only get it if you can find a replacement backglass, marquee and cabinet art for it.

If those are available at a reasonable price go for it....if not, it seems hard to look at (even if the playfield is great) and to keep in your home for an extended period of time.

He has the translite backglass... and I do believe he has the topper front piece as well.  The cabinet can be painted then stenciled something cool...

Your garage is full of games.  Where do you work on the projects?  If you have the room I say go for it.

I pulled the trigger.  I am picking it up today after work.  I can always make room for a pinball project.

Got it.  The cab is BEAT TO HELL but the playfield looks pretty damn good aside from being dirty as can be.   New rubber,  a cleaning and waxing and she'll be good to go!  I was surprised when I plugged her in and she fired right up!   I dropped 3 balls in and played a game!  The score board is missing but the guy included a BRAND NEW PinScore scoreboard with receipt for $238.00!!

I'd consider that if it werent for the fact there is a bunch of paint currently flaking off...  The black paint is shot.

At least take hi-res straight on photos of the art. May you can eventually use it to make decals.

I tell you what though, this would be a very easy conversion to a true James bond pinball. The playfield is fine as-is, you would just need custom box art and translite. If you plan on doing them anyways, might as well go true James Bond.

Alright, I fixed the GI issue, now the only lights not working are the flasher bulbs behind the backglass. For some reason every one of the 10 sockets is missing bulbs, but when I checked the sockets with a known good flasher bulb, none worked. This isn't a huge issue though as the game already has enough flashing frankly...

I've spent a bit of time working on the cabinet itself the last few days. HOLY CRAP was it in bad shape... the paint at the lower end of 1/2 the cab was chipping away... luckily mostly in the black on the cab itself while the backbox was in rough shape with some MASSIVE chipping and weathered paint. I think I did a serviceable job in keeping the artwork and I ended up spraying a coat of clear over the top in hopes to prevent any more chipping... not sure how long it will last, but what the hell, I had to try something...

The same goes for the bottom 3-4" of the cab toward the front... and the front of the cab was a goner... there was no way to save the art.

Overall I am pretty happy with the way it came out considering what I had to start with.

Damn dude, that looks GREAT! You could always make some decals for the front if you felt like adding something.

Thanks... I am considering adding a few stars around the start button like the original... short of that I am fine with how it looks now.

Great score! Good job repainting.  Where did you find this deal?  Private collector, CL?

Local collector I know.  He's a good guy.

Thanks BTW... I think I may be able to get to the playfield shop this weekend.
