Forget MaLa for a sec....

Winaue can be fiddly

1) You Know you need a separate Wanuae Config file for each game right?
2) If you have Winuae set up correctly then double clicking on the games config file should launch the (no settings window) game full screen.
    If not then:
    A) Launch  Winuae (not via a config file)
    B) Test the game works via Quick Launch
    C) Enter the rom file location into the hardware/ floppy drive section (NOT quickstart)
    D) Under 'Mic-advanced' make sure the show gui on start-up is not checked
    E) Save 'AS' this config under the game name
    F) Quit Winuae and double click the config file you just saved
Game should now launch ....  If not you have some other setting wrong in Winaue

When you have Winaue sorted

In MaLa ensure you have it configured as per attached pics (obviously your file path will vary but the command line details should be the same.

When you have you amiga game list loaded then right click and refresh list

Enjoy

Maximus Arcade is programmed with SPECIFIC emulators in mind (so much that to play some systems you have to use that one emulator) , Winuae being one of them.  Whereas MaLa is an open ended application that allows for much more freedom with the right amount of setup finesse...

From MA's site:
Quote
MA will currently manage the following emulators and executables below. The following emulators listed have been successfully tested with MA, although other emulators may be substituted with varying degrees of success.

* Currently configured to only run with the emulator listed.

Commodore Amiga     Winuae     -s use_gui=no -s gfx_fullscreen_amiga=true -0 %file     .uae, .ipf, .adf, .adz, .gz, .dms, .fdi, .zip

Maybe you guys need to check out my UAE Config Creator application. It's designed for the TOSEC collection as it uses it's naming convention to place disk span's into the available drives so you can swap in/out floppy's for multiple disk games. You set your emulator's filter to *.uae.

You can download it from here

this thread helpt me out a lot, thanks!

just some info that can be good to others.

winuaebootlog are the log file for winuae. in that i saw that %path% were read as text and not as a variable, and also that %ext% were translated to zip and not uae.

So i got it to work if i used this as command line: -f "%rom%.uae"
