Can I remove this bezel?
« on: January 12, 2010, 05:27:43 pm »
I got my new (used) touchscreen today.  It's a 1939L ELO.  Here's the website: http://www.elotouch.com/Products/LCDs/1939L/

I was disappointed to see that the screen is inset about 1/4 inch from the outer bezel.  I was hoping to mount this flush with my wall and frame around it.  Can I remove this bezel?  There's a bunch of screws holding the silver piece on but I didn't want to screw something up. (no pun intended)

As always, thanks for any help.  You guys are great!

Here's a couple pictures.

Got brave and took it off.  26 tiny screws later all is well!
