Feedback wanted on seller: Joe (crew.contractors@yahoo.com)
« on: March 17, 2009, 08:41:48 pm »
I am planning to purchase a pinball from
Joe G. (crew.contract...@yahoo.com) via money order.

Talked to him on the phone and he seems like a very nice legitimate
seller.

Just wanted to know if anyone else has dealt with him and if all is
safe and on the up and up which it seems to be.

Planning on sending out the MO tomorrow so would appreciate any
feedback anyone has dealing with this seller.

Thanks!
-Charles

Hey all just as an update, if anyone is interested, I decided to
purchase from Joe (crew.contract...@yahoo.com)

I am having it shipped on mon the 30th (hopefully) from Florida to Ca.

I bought the TAf from him for $2100 (which I thought was a great price
based on the condition of the pin  ;D).

I originally saw his post on rgp and from there asked feedback
since I have never dealt with him before.

Well not many people replied on that post (or this one) directly but many did email
certain links for me to look at, on other sites, and told me what
their opinion was with him.

I was interested in the pin even though I never got feedback from
anyone who actually bought a pin from him... all feedback was about
his messages and listings.

So gave him a call and looked at the pictures he had and when speaking
to him he seemed like a really nice guy and it didn't seem like he was
hiding flaws in the machine but told me the problem areas. He was also
talking about other games he had (many which were less expensive) that
he liked better (also a  good sign in a seller). In short I didn't get
the impression he was a scam artist.

Looking at all the pics I saw flaws which didn't seem covered up and
so I have a pretty good idea of what to expect and matched with the
price and the description he gave over the phone decided to go with
it, as the price seemed to match the condition.

So far so good, as he received my payment and called as soon as he
did. Hopefully shipping and his scheduling won't be too much of a
problem (going through NAVL even through they are really expensive!).

So will give an objective review once I receive and setup the pin for
anyone else interested in his pins. Thought this might help since I
like to read reviews from those who have actually bought from sellers
whose pins I am interested in.

Thanks!
