Correct WPC translite size?
« on: March 17, 2009, 08:24:55 pm »
How big should a WPC translite (not the glass) be?

I have a (presumably) reproduction Twilight Zone translite which measures 26 1.2 x 18 5/16 tapering to a bit over 18 3/8".

The fat end does not fit my 27 x 18 7/8" glass without bulging.

The glass and translite weren't installed in my machine when I moved because the backbox lock plate had fallen out, and the idiots at Graebel Van Lines managed to loose glass, translite, and the spare translite (with cut-outs for a play counter that caused me to replace it the first time).

So I got replacement bits and pieces from various places and was surprised when they didn't fit together.
