E-Touch/Freebox Visualizations Problem
« on: March 27, 2009, 07:59:26 am »
I have been trying to get Winamp Visualizations to work with E-touch/Freebox but it is not working.  I've tried it on dual monitors and on my single touchscreen and niether work.  Also my juke is only going to have one screen so when the Viz does work can it be set to come on the one screen like a screensavers after a couple minutes of non-use and then turn off when you tap the screen, or does this have to work with two monitors?

The winamp VIS was sort of bodged in to be honest, It was added for McCoy a long while back before i had the WMP visualisations and it's not straight forward setting it up. It only works on the second monitor anyway so it is probably no use for what you want. You can grab the geisss screensaver and use that or get a suitible WMP plugin and set that fullscreen those are really your only options.

Thanks Barry!!  I will try that, and I have found some other programs that seem like they may turn Milkdrop into a standalone screensaver, which may work.   Its no big deal E-touch awsome!!!!!

IIRC there was a version of milkdrop for WMP being worked on...

EDIT:
You could try this, it supports milkdrop presets and it availble for WMP

Seems like that is the answer to your question.
