got phone line back WOO HOO (ice storm)

woo hoo!!!! Phone company got me back on line.
Ice storm took my home phone line out.

we went with out Electricity for only 24 hrs
but phone line was riped to shreds.
I  woke up with no phone and electricity.
i went out side and found a bunch of tree branches had riped phone line off pole and house.

electrick line was stretched and pulling on my house.

I looked at it for a good 1/2 hr.
what could I do?
chain saw seems to dangerous.
SHOT GUN! with slugs.
12 gauge 
grabbed my brother next door.
We grabbed a few cups of java ( to early for beer) 
his was a 4:10 I went for the gusto 12 Gauge
20 slugs each the electrick line was cleared.

I did wait before i called electrick and phone companies.
too many people out of all utilities for me to bother them.

now my utility pole has been inspected and needs replaced ( cracked )
I had the phone line patched and still laying on the ground.

I did this because as soon as the electrick company comes out and removes pole I can cut down 7 trees and not have this problem anymore

Yep. You're definitely from Kentucky. 

Glad to see you're back. I have family over in Western Kentucky and they were only out of power for about 3 days, phone line for the same. All was well for them.
