What do you mean by video-only?
Redemption games that only use a video screen and a control interface (panel). In other words, nothing mechanical or game specific plastic parts.
In simpler terms a "video (only) game" that spews tickets.
I asume not any mechanical games.
As I said to Ummon above, that is correct. Video only. The only thing mechanical would be the ticket dispenser/coin mech.
chucky cheese memory match game / flintstones memory match game ?
Yes, I have seen these, and played them via Mame as well.
hmmmf
ICE has a lot of these..
Dino Dash
Zoofari
Fishin Time
Tuxedo Racer
Deal or No Deal
Frantic Fred
Buster Bubbles
Sponge Bob Bikini Bottom Bowling
...just trying to think about what we have in my companies stores..
I have played the "Fishing Game" before at a Dave & Busters. But I am not too familiar with the others. I am mostly looking at games I can set up to play via MAME. I looked on the MAWS website and all of the games above are not emulated yet
Double Cheese!
.
Yes, I seen/played this one at Chuck E. Cheese. It is also emulated via Mame.
Paint 'N' Puzzle
But I don't believe it's correctly emulated yet.
(at least not the last time I tried it)
Yes, I looked it up in MAWS and it is in the preliminary stages and it is a WIP.
I do have to add one that I found on my own in MAWS:
Neck-N-Neck, which is a horse racing type game. It is emulated and I tried it out. Good game!
I been looking through the MAWS list year by year page by page (daunting task, I know), and there doesn't seem to be much...at least much that has been emulated for Mame. I got up to 1995 though. However, I am finding that most games (regular video games) start to have stuttering audio on my machine. I guess I need a "bigger boat" (more powerful computer).
Anyway, thanx for the input guys!
