Simulated video wall?
« on: June 19, 2003, 04:05:42 pm »
This may be better suited for the software area but does anyone know of a software package that simulates the video walls that were so popular in the 80's? Basically I'm looking for something that would split a second monitor into multiple sections that I could play a video on then and control each section for either the full video, or it's portion of the video.

thanks, I had seen that one and it actually goes to making the true thing. I'm looking for more of a software simulated version. Basically to take a second screen hooked up to a projector and simulate the screen being sectioned and the ability to control each section as if it were really a seperate monitor.

not a problem, we're re-designing our game-room to give it more of an eighties arcade feel to it. I have an old projector that really isn't bright enough to use for movies (got a new one for that) so since the arcade will be a low light setting, I was going to project it on one wall and play videos through it. I just thought it would be something fun to play with.
