Selling Most of My Warehouse Find Arcades
« on: October 15, 2008, 01:21:37 pm »
All right, I’ve got a bunch of games, and partial games, that I’m needing to get rid off. I obtained all these games from a bulk warehouse find, minus the Top Gunner.

The warehouse had flooded years back, so the games have all been submerged about 18” or so of water. Some sustained heavy damage, others came out much better, mostly because of wood varieties.

Of the 10 complete games I’ve plugged up, 5 have worked. I took boards from some and some of those have tested good.

Some cabs are without monitors, or control panels, or boards, they’re just in all sorts of different shapes.

Well, I’ve got 25 or so in storage, and another 12 or so in my garage. I’m working on a list of them as well as their relative condition. I didn’t really inventory these things, I just hauled them in over a quick day.

I’ve got pics and I’ll post them later this evening. I haven’t come up with firm prices yet, but I’ll be asking anywhere from $25 for an almost empty cab to $150 or so for more exotic, or classic games.

I’ll be at the storage shed on Saturday, October 25th to sell the games. They’ll be sold first come first serve. I live in Southeast Houston.

I’ll try to help and inform any way I can, please just ask questions and I’ll see if I can answer. I just need to raise some funds, so please let me know.

Thanks for looking, and here’s an incomplete list of the games. Again, I’ll update as I inventory more.

Choplifter – Needs monitor, untested board
Tron – Untested, I believe it’s missing the main game board.
Super Pac – Cabinet is missing bottom. Very bad shape, but complete.
Q*Bert – Complete, but cabinet is in bad shape
Circus Charlie – No game board, bad monitor burn
Galaxian – locked, dunno what’s in it
Ikari Warriors – Conversion from Burger Time. 100% Working
Golden Axe – Unknown board inside with bronze covering
Couple of empty Nintendo cabs
Super Breakout – Cab in rough shape, untested
Bubble Bobble – Untested
Bubble Bobble – Very weak cabinet base
Mikie – Needs Monitor, untested
Eyes – Untested
Gyruss - Untested
Cabal - Untested
Rolling Thunder - Untested
Raiden – Untested
Berzerk – Needs Monitor
Air Buster – Untested
Shinobi – Untested
Buster Bros - Untested

If you have transportation you could try taking some of the cabs that don't sell to the HAAG expo in a couple of weeks.

Just a thought.

I've let the HAAG guys know.  But time and transportation are  both an issue, which is why I'll be going w/o games...  :hissy:

That Gyruss is looking nice. Q-bert's not too bad, either. However, I'm probably twice as far as Swatwolf. By the way, it helps to put the city and state in the thread title.

Hey, yeah. As for a road trip, I could probably get at least as good a shape cabs semi-locally for the same price as those and the gas, let alone the time, it would take.

If you were in Colo I would be all over the Galaxian and Berzerk. Q*Bert would be nice too, but not a wasted one. Good luck with the sale.

Q*Bert actually turned out in alot better shape than I remembered.  I've got newer pics here: http://s282.photobucket.com/albums/kk259/whoamonga/Arcades%20For%20Sale/

The berzerk still has all the boards, but no CP or monitor.

The Galaxian cabinet is pretty shot.  It's got all the components still inside, but the bottom has caved and won't even stand upright anymore... Truly a tragedy. :hissy:

If you end up parting out the Berzerk I'm all over those boards.  I could use some spares.

I'll keep you in mind for Berzerk if I part it out.  I'm going to try and sell it together first though.

A reminder that this is tomorrow morning.  I need to unload all these cabs, so please stop by if interested!
