Front End for Multiple Emulators?

Don't know if you guys have done this (I'm sure many of you have), but...

1.  I'm allowed ONE arcade machine in the rec room.
2.  So if I want it to emulate many different systems, that one will have to do it.
3.  No matter what.

...so is there a front end that will incorporate MAME as well as the other emulators?

I've been a video game freak for 30 years (I'm 38 now) and love playing the old stuff (Air/Sea Battle on the 2600 is STILL a blast), as well as the newer stuff.  So with all the emulators out there, I want to build one machine that handles them all.

Not to mention old PC games.

The cabinet I'm building (slowly) will have a 22" CRT, a two-level control panel, slide-out keyboard and mouse (wireless) and all that.

So...ignoring the PC games bit, is there a front end that can help me here?

Preferably, it's one that is easy to configure.

Yup, read the wiki. It's a matter of personal taste. If you read a bit you will find the popular favorites very quickly.

It's really all personal preference.   Each one has features that you may want or limitations that may be a deal breaker.   The most popular ones are Mala, Mamewah, Hyperspin, Atomic, etc.   But again, read the Wiki and see the feature list and you'll probably gravitate towards one or two.

And you can also use multimame to get the rest of the frontends to work with multiple emulators.

I currently use Hyperspin front end.

Lovely looking front end and support all emulators and they have a full forum for suppot.

Check it out, but as everyone on here says there is loads of them out there, Check out hyperspin on youtube, some nice vids of it on there as im sure there is of most front ends
