FS: Supergun (DFW, TX)
« on: August 10, 2008, 09:26:32 am »
I built this for someone, but he seems to have disappeared.  It's a fully self-contained unit built in a Midway box CP.  It was originally an MK, then converted to NFL Blitz.  Video out is composite/S-video, and is switchable NTSC/PAL.  Audio out is via standard R/W RCA cables.  Buttons 4-6 are wired, and extra kick harness connectors are included to adapt for whatever game you are using.

Not to thread-jack, but this is why I get payment up front for custom work...

Good luck with the sale! :)

It was built as part of a trade deal, instead of a sale.  (but yeah, you're right)

What was he trading you?  I was supposed to have a trade deal with him- his Wii for my Supergun, but as soon as I requested he send first since he has no trader feedback on the site, he disappeared.  Hmmmm.

I may be interested in that Supergun, but what is up with the button layout?  Anyway could it be changed to a row of 3 on top and 3 on the bottom or something similar?

The layout is MK.

Thanks.  I knew it had to be a custom layout of some kind.

Same trade...his Wii for this supergun. :dizzy:

Yeah, the button layout is MK, with the yellow button being the "TURBO" button from NFL Blitz.  It's really not hard to play other fighters like this (I tested it out with SF: Alpha).   But yes, it could always be re-drilled.  I would do it myself, but I burned up my drill putting new holes in someone's CP last week.

I'm still sorting through a big stack of boxes full of boards.  What are you looking for, and I'll keep an eye out?

Well, I found:

Double Dragon
SF II: World Warrior
Street Fighter Alpha: Warrior's Dream

I'm pretty sure there's a Rastan out there somewhere, and pretty sure there is no Robocop.

Here's a very partial list:

Ikari Warriors x8
Guerrilla Wars x3
Skull & Crossbones x2
SF II: WW x3
SF Alpha: WD x2
Time Soldiers x2
Shinobi x6
Block Out x3
Combatribes
Pit Fighter
Side Arms
Vigilante
Terra Cresta
NBA Jam
MK II
Double Dribble
Fire Trap
Super Dodgeball

and a LOT more........

Double Dragon  $40

SF II: World Warrior  $30

Street Fighter Alpha: Warrior's Dream  $50  (B board only)

Rastan  $40  (assuming I can find it)

Prices do not include shipping, but should be able to fit in a priority mail flat rate box.

Looking for $350 + shipping, and I will include 2-3 boards with it (at least $100 worth).

Still available.....and still going through boxes of PCBs.  (I really need to make a list of them all)  I had 3-4 stacks about 6 ft high going so far.

I'll try and get that list together and make a separate post for them.  I've got a couple of projects going on, so I keep forgetting to go see what all is stacked up now.

Supergun still available.   I'm also looking to get rid of a bunch of spare parts around here.  Going on vacation in a few days, so I'll try and make a new post when I get back.  (I'm STILL finding more boards I had forgotten about!)
