Cocktail Seating?
« on: September 11, 2008, 09:08:46 pm »
Does anyone have any suggestions for good seating for a cocktail style arcade? I finally finished building a 2-player cocktail cabinet, and I've currently been using a two different office-type desk chairs for each side. I'd like to find something small, like a low stool or a small padded chair.

Does anyone have any suggestions for game-room style furniture?

Thanks

If and when I do my cocktail I was going to use something like this: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=46319
Got this lead from one of the projects here and the guy said they were a good size for a typical cocktail.  Small enough to keep out of the way, height adjustable, swivel, and they have casters.

For an authentic retro seating experience, go to your local Pizza Hut and steal 2 chairs.  ;D

Thanks! That's a great idea, and definately one of the directions I was leaning towards. I like the fact that it is adjustable and it swivels... I may grab a pair of these.

You could also build your own matching stool/bench.  You built the cocktail so you're apparently capable enough.

Here's mine:
