I've been around the board a few times and see all sorts of people with these custom titles. Does it not seem kind of sick for someone to put his little label on everyone and narrow down their existence here down to a short phrase?

I guess you never know when one of your next posts will end up being a part of you for a very long time or until something better or worse comes along.

No, it's not sick. Saint does it to be funny but I am sure if someone really wanted it to change (Frizzle), they can ask. I've yet to see one (besides Frizzle

) who had issues with it. Mine was me trying to be a smart ass and it bit me in the butt. No big deal, but funny as hell.

Actually, my custom title originally quoted a post where I praised Mr. C (I think it was) who is sort of my arch-nemesis on the R&P forum...the minute I saw it I PMed Saint with the eternal words you now see as my custom title!

Custom titles are just part of the fun. There is a sense of friendly camaraderie among forum members. If I had to guess though, 'friendly' and 'camaraderie', are words that aren't in your vocabulary.

Hemi, if you're around long enough, you end up with hybrid custom titles. Mine is the result of several being refined over time.

I don't know how I feel about it. I'm not comfortable being happy that saint had to bust out the ban hammer on someone. Sure, the guy deserved it, but that's not the type of community I want this to be.

I don't like the fact that anyone had to be banned from these forums, but the guy pretty much wanted it. I mean, look at his posts after his three day ban. He tried to go out with a bang (and by making personal threats, no less).
