I have recently acquired a machine that had been converted to 1943 Battle of Midway.  The machine was purchase in non working condition.  It would do nothing when turned on.  Not having experience I am not planning on trying to restore the machine, but am using the cabinet for a MAME project.  I am looking to sell the marquee, cardboard bezel, Jamma PCB and control panel.  I am hoping to find someone that is restoring a machine and is looking for the above mentioned items.  Let me know if you are interested in all or some of the above and make me an offer.  I live in Austin, TX.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  If you want any additional pictures or closeups of something let me know.

I might be interested in some of the parts. I don't think I can use the CP. Can you do a quick measurement of the bezel and marquee? I have a marquee that doesn't fit and maybe this one does. I don't currently have a bezel.

I measured the marquee and it is 21 3/4" L x 6 7/8" H.  It appears to be a vinyl sticker on the plexiglass.

The bezel is a cardboard piece that measures 21 13/16" L x 21 5/16" H.  The cutout in the middle was for a 19" vertically mounted arcade monitor and it measures 12 11/16" L x 16 3/16" H.

The instructions in each lower corner are cut off a little.  The cardboard piece was trimmed to fit in the cabinet.

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding these items.

*** UPDATE ***

With the help of Rip, from here on BYOAC, I was able to test my 1943 board yesterday and now know that it is working properly.  He answered my request for someone willing to test it in the Austin area.  I took the board over to his house and he hooked it up to his Jamma machine and it booted up and came up and looked great.  He added a credit and started it up and it worked fine.  I want to thank him for his assistance.

Hmmm.... I checked mine and the marquee is 23x9 (and doesn't fit my cab). Very odd. Unfortunately, neither does yours. I need something approximately 23-3/4 x 8. I didn't take perfect measurements, but it looks like your marquee won't fit anyway.

Your bezel is nearly square. I wonder what it was cut to fit? Mine takes a 22-1/2 x 23-3/4 bezel (12-1/2 x 16" inside) which fits a 19" display.

Looks like I'll need to pass. But thank you for measuring.

I guess I can order a repro marquee and bezel at mamemarquees ($60 for the set).

I will sell the marquee for $20.00

I will sell the PCB which has been tested and is working for $35.00

I am not going to sell the control panel currently.  I need it to test and design the new one.

Let me know on the prices or make me an offer.
