Hi all!  I'm really close to finishing everything up on my cab and I'm just doing last minute software things...

Quick question... I don't see how this would be possible but are we able to add a game from Daphne (namely, Dragon's Lair) to my regular game list somehow?  I know how to do it in two different lists but I don't want to use any game other than DL so I'd love to consolidate it to just one list.

Also, if this is possible, I'm assuming you could do the same with Visual Pinball and Future Pinball into one list?

Thanks!

SGT

Thanks man!!!

I think that's now, like, the fourth time you've bailed me out!  If you ever have any Avid editing questions, let me know!  I owe you a couple, haha.  Aside from Avid and baseball, that's about all I've got ;)

SGT is a legend of MaLa support.  But can a steal one of his favours?

Avid Question: Can you export your project so that it automatically get's FTP to a remote site with associated metadata? I have a bunch of editors at remote sites that have trouble with the concept of using explorer (or whatever) to FTP a finished project after a Video spot is finished.

Ah, a fellow editor!

When we usually export OMF's to FTPs, if needed, we just consolidate and bury everything in the OMF.  To be safe, we'll send the bins as well, as well as a VidRef.  We have to do that to the desktop first, then drag/upload to the FTP... going to and from never seems possible, unless you have a server like Alienbrain (which I've pull gfx directly from, which makes it great for reimporting if I need).  We basically do everything in-house though, except for the ProTools session so we don't really have to get too complex with it.  But if they just use the OMFs and consolidated 1:1 video, everything should be good to go.  It's tough, though, if you're in HD land, it takes all night to upload... kinda like the renders in the late 90's, haha.  But for HD stuff, we just consolidate to an external then courier it over since all of our 'farmers' are in town.

Am I understanding your question right though...?
