Who Can Identify this Cabinet?
« on: May 14, 2008, 08:35:28 am »
Well I just got this cabinet and doesn't have anything to identify it by.
I was wondering what it was originally.

What you can't see in the pics is that the coin door is the old Midway style (coins go in flat not perpendicular to the door) and the handles on the to of the cabinet are also branded Midway.
Sides are laminated and its got what looks like a K4600 monitor in it.

Anyone got any ideas?

Regards
Steve

I am no expert by any means but it is real similar to my Taito cab that I got. But with the Midway door and all I am way off.

Could you take a straight on side profile picture?  Also, is there anything distinctive about the control panel?

Sure I'll try to get a pic tonight.

The only other thing I forgot to mention was that it is about 4 inches shorter than a normal cab.
No CP sorry it was unsalvagable and has gone the journey.

This is going to drive me insane.  It kind of looks like a Rock-O-La cabinet, like Nibbler, but it's got that slanted front like on a Galaxian or Ms. Pac-Man, just more pronounced, and the old style Midway coin door.  I'll keep looking.  Anyone else got any idea what that is?

It does look a little like a Taito Superman or US Classic Golf, but I can't find a Taito cabinet with that sharp slant in front. :banghead:

It appears to have stereo sound, so that should narrow it down, right?
