nintendo joystick: missing spring
« on: May 31, 2008, 11:55:10 am »
so the spring on my dk cab's joystick is missing (if there was a spring), so the joystick is....for lack of a better term....limp..

yeah...go ahead.

anyway...the guy i bought it from said he'd just get a better joystick off of another nintendo cab and let me have it...but in the meantime, i figured i'd restore this one, and maybe find someone who could get some use out of it.

any idea what kind of spring i would need to put back in this joystick?

Clearly you have mis-identified this joystick. Everyone knows Nintendoo sticks don't break due to the fact they are made of StrongtaniumTM

This irrefutable fact has been long established on these boards by those who know what funny is.

Yes, clearly you are mistaken.  Nintendo joysticks NEVER break.

What you guys clearly mis-understand is that the joystick is not "broken", but rather is simply in need of a consumable part to return it to fully functioning service.  You wouldn't consider you car "broken" if it needed new tires, would you?

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

1. The spring wasn't stolen or something, it simply disappeared in a defective burst.

2. Since the spring is gone, it is in fact broken.

3. As we all know ducks are made of wood.

4. And wood is also used in Nintedo cabinets.

5. And Nintendoo sticks cannot, in fact break, ever.

6. It follows that ... c'mon, you got it. That's right. Saint is a witch!

Hope that clears everything up. You just need to use logic.

Blasphemy begins in 3...2...1....

If you want a better stick upgrade that one to the Wico.
