1/16" router bit

hi im in uk and have been trying to get a 1/16" router bit to do tmould but cant find anyware with them, b&q want to sell a full set and its not in it, the wood im going to route is 1/2" thick, the router i g ot is a plunge router (one from lidl) i think its a 16 & 18 coller , any one know where i can get one in uk or order online from someone in uk? thanx

Apart from using a router, how else can I cut the grooves for t-molding? I can't find the correct bit locally and I'm not waiting 2-3 weeks again for something from another country.

Using a router is the most practical approach. If you can't find a slot cutter, you might look for a 1/16" straight bit and try to build some sort of jig that will allow you to use it to cut the necessary slot. If you've got concave curves to deal with, you're in trouble...

The point is that most circular saw blades cut a kerf that is 1/8" wide. Which isn't terribly useful if you're trying to create a 1/16" slot...

I guess you have got one sorted but I thought I would add where I got mine for future reference.

I got a 1.5mm (about 0.004" smaller) slot cutter from tooled-up.com in the UK
