anyone ever dug into a double dragon cab?
« on: June 22, 2008, 10:37:08 am »
I'm going over to a friends house to help him with his double dragon cabinet. He said it has "wiring issues", which could be almost anything. Anyways, I printed out the pcb manual and have the pinout and dip switch info etc...but am not sure if the cabinet is any different that a normal jamma cabinet.

Anything different I should look for?
A common problem with these cabinets?
Anything I need to know or would be better off knowing going into this task?

The thing is, the guy lives an hour away from my house. I'd like to get the whole thing up and running while I'm over there and not have to make any extra trips etc.. Gas is expensive. lol...so I am trying to figure out as much as possible ahead of time.

I tried to get some more info about it, but the return email said "It has wiring issues" instead of something I could use to trouble shoot tonight and think about in the morning.

Anyways, if anyone has ever dug through one of these cabinets or a cabinet that is the same...any advice?

thanks!

-E

JAMMA cabinet. Nothing special. Shouldn't be "digging" through it when power is on.

NO MORE!!
