JPAC and IPAC combo question
« on: March 05, 2008, 05:52:01 pm »
Hello, I have a simple question about the setup I'm about to do. I have a jamma+ arcade system. I've decided to do mame so from what I understand, I should get a J-PAC. I want to have a 4 person board, players one and two with 6 buttons each for fighting games and players three and four with 4 buttons each. Each player will have a start button, and it's a two coin system. Would J-pac and I-pac4 combo be the solution or J-Pac and I-pac2 combo? Thank You

J-PAC and I-PAC 2 would be fine for this. You would need to re-program all the I-PAC 2 keycodes for players 3 and 4 instead of 1 and 2. You can use the table on www.ultimarc.com/ipac2.html to get the correct keycodes.
You can connect both boards in any combination of PS/2 or USB.
