MaLa AVRes Mame and AVGA

Hi, I have an Arcade VGA 2 installed and just ran the AVRes tool which generated a ton of ini files for all the games to run at the correct resolutions.  I'm running MaLa as a frontend, but since I ran the AVRes tool when I launch a game through MaLa the windows dos box pops up temporarily before the mame screen comes up ('type ok') the dos box says that there are unknown commands in the ini files (all the commands are things like -nobezel)

In the AVRes tool it says that the inis that it creates will be commands preceded with a minus character (like -nobezel) for use with dos mame (which is what I have installed as this is what MaLa needs I think)  so I'm not sure why the commands aren't being recognised. 

To be honest, it doesn't seem to cause a problem - the few games I have tested seem to work fine - but it is very annoying having the dos box pop up.

Is there a way of resolving this and having the dos box not pop up when MaLa launches mame?
