I tried this weekend to get pictures but none of them turned out clear...
So, I've written down how it is wired up.
The terminals on teh power supply, from the bottom terminals up, are labelled like this:
+12v 2.5A
-5v 1A
GND
GND
+5v 15A
FG (All cables on this are yellow&green)
AC (All cables on this are blue)
AC (All cables on this are brown)
The cable from the mains is fed through the back of the and goes to a switch, and then cable goes to the bottom terminals on the power supply (brown, blue, yellow & green).
The monitor is also wired to the bottom terminals with the same colours.
The monitor is a Hantarex POLO 25" (220-240vac, 50-60Hz 0.9A) - I did a search on Google and couldn't find much, but did find one mention that the Polo does not require an Iso transformer. Is there a way I can verify that? Is there a manual for the monitor I can download? I'm 99% sure that there isn't on in the machine as it is, so I'm pretty sure that the monitor doesn't require one. Is there any specif amp fuse I need for the plug?
So, assuming that I am not bothered about the coin door, marquee light, and speakers to be powered, I can disconnect the mains from the bottom three terminals on the power supply, and wire a standard 3-pin plug to the monitor cable and plug that into a surge-protected power strip which I will also be powering the PC from and the PC speakers from.
The power supply also has a label on it that reads:
95v ~ 135vac
190v ~ 260vac
Inside Change
47Hz - 63Hz
Thanks for your help with this!
