Wanted: full cabinet (minus pcb) in TX
« on: May 20, 2003, 02:45:01 pm »
I want to build a MAME cabinet for my brother for his b-day, but the quickest dirtiest (and cheapest) way for me would be to use a real game without the game board in it. I have until mid July. I already have a J-Pac and PC. I just need the machine!

Anybody know where I can get one? DFW, south Texas and the Houston area are probably the easiest places to reach for me.

However, I NEED the monitor.

You just missed one of the best arcade auctions ever in texas. Games were going for almost nothing at all. Several guys on the klov forum attended (and at least one from here, kspiff).
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

I'm very aware of that auction. I had been planning on going to sell a Killer Instinct 2 machine of my own. Wasn't able to make it, though.

Trust me, though, I'm very aware.

However, aren't most of those complete machines? Do they even sell partials?

I don't wanna pay more than $50... finding one for free would be ideal. I can't afford anything big anyways. This is a b-day gift.
