Heya mate, firstly welcome to the best source for arcade/jukebox info on the net!

Probably not to your liking, but you can pick up cheap "radiograms" and "stereograms" of EBay that dont take much to mod (gut them and insert). I picked one up for $5, unfortunately not all the components would fit so I built one from scratch, modeling it on the radiogram (will be posting picks tomorrow as is pretty much complete)

Good luck!

I was originally going to use a 1939 philco radio but intergating a monitor and keeping the nostgic look just seemed a brige too far. So, I picked up a non working 1960ish Admiral console stereo. I fixed the amp(really just need a little solder and every potentiometer drenched in electronics cleaner), and I pump the audio out of the computer into the amp and it looks and sounds great. Just got to finish framing out the touchscreen and I am done. I bought the first radio on ebay and there are always lots of them listed. Also, if you are in the states Craigslist is a great place to pickup items like these. I also go to the salvation army quite often as people are always donating things like this to them and If I buy it then its win win. I get the radio and they get financial support.
