UK seller with tons of Playstation trackballs. Hackable for Mame???

(Not my auction) Anyone try one of these?  About $20 including shipping to the US it looks like.  Are they hackable?   Seller has TONS of these

I saw them at a used game shop for $25 a while back. Didn't really look too carefully at them because I never really liked the playstation very much.

i took one of these out of the box at a local gamestop or whatever, and it does NOT have a golden tee esque roll... I.e. it rolls the same as a regular computer mouse.

It was like 10 bucks (US) in that store but I passed on it as it seemed chinsey.
