FS/FT: mint virtual boy!
« on: December 16, 2007, 06:49:37 pm »
I have a mint virtual boy (not a mark!) with mario tennis. Is anybody interested in this bit of gaming history... not many of these were made (because of the excruciating headaches that you would get after playing for 15minutes). I would buy it for the game play but instead as a "hey look what I got" or art piece.. it is darn cool looking. I know I didn't do much to promote this but seriously it looks cool, and that's the only reason I still have it. Anybody care to make an offer? seems to be going for about 20-70 dollars on ebay... so make an offer, I can look around I know I have other games. I'll post pictures later tonight (I'm stuck at my brother's house, friggen snow storm!).

I've got a virtual boy too w/ mario tennis, wario land, and mario Clash. I love it! VB Wario ranks up there in my top 10 playformer game list. The depth effects definately add a lot to the game. It's odd though, I can play the system for hours and not get headaches... Tennis is also great, it's actually possible to hit the ball at the right time thanks to the depth :D

Kremmit: If you do get his VB, make sure to buy Wario Land.

It's not odd.  I still play my VB on occasion and never get headaches.  When I injured my back I played it for like 6 hours a day because I couldn't do anything but lie still and look up.

Wario Land is one of the great overlooked classics.  Easily the best game on the VB.

Yeah, I think that was the other game I had (I still need to find it). Some people do get headaches others don't I'm just airing on the side of caution just in case somebody happens to get the headaches they can't complain... you've been warned

You can't overlook Galactic Pinball.  At family gatherings my brother and I still try to beat each others scores.
