Ok, I'm having a bit of a strange problem, maybe someone could shed some light...
I'm using Mala 1.04, an Ultrastick w/Mala Ultramap plugin, and setting up NullDC. Now I have NullDC working through Windows just fine, using the Ultrastik and plays pretty well... Except unfortunately I can't map the P1 button as start because the joystick plugin accepts ONLY joystick input, but that's another story...
So anyway, launching NullDC through Windows, everything is golden. I have it set up in Mala, with ESC as an exit key/hook and no probs there. But when I get into a game, the joystick is responding very erratically. I drop out of Mala and go into Ultramap and it looks like the stick is now set as a 4-way, even though I have nothing set to do that. So in Mala I set Pre and Post commands to program the stick as an 8-way just to make sure, and try again and same behavior... In Ultramap it is again acting like a 4-way until I reprogram it. So I'm stumped... I'm not sure why it's freaking the Ultrastik out when launching through Mala, but not when just launching NullDC in WinXP.
Anyone have any ideas or maybe have run into something similar?
