Question: Mameroom's Control Panel Designer
« on: November 17, 2007, 05:32:39 am »
Hi folks,

Taking a crack at designing my new control panel using Mameroom Contral Panel Designer.  It seems like a pretty good app.

Questions:
- In the spinner category, there are no selections for the Slipstik Tornado spinner.  Is anyone aware which of the 4 Oscar controls would be equivalent of the Tornado spinner and if there are none, I gather it's best to just leave that area blank?

- Along the same lines, I'm considering changing one of my joysticks (player 1) to the Ultimarc Ultrastik 360, as it has the benefits of doing a good job with 4 way game/Qbert, Analog, etc.  Would its dimensions fit one of the existing joysticks?

- I'm wondering, is there a website out there that has more CPD templates?  If not, would any of you who've had success using the app care to share your 2 player 6 button - trackball/spinner templates? ;)

- As I'm considering adding flipper buttons to the side of the control panel, is there a recommended distance from the top/front of the panel?

Thanks again,

Loaf
