For those who want/have wanted to use their game lists in Mame32 when switching to MaLa, you can do this. In the gamelist editor, you have to do the following:
>file>new gamelist
> gamelist > get from Mame32
then navigate to folders ini and select which one you want. I have only one, and various sub-folders, so it displays all the names of those subfolders when I click on the ini, and then I select one. Then name it if it isn't automatically named the same, or if you want it to be different, and then
> file > save
Do this for each one you want. Note that each .mlg file will be put in the same folder as your folders ini, so for convenience at least you have to move them to your MaLa directory.
Now. Let's say you want more than one mame version with the same or some of the same game lists, and you don't want to figure out Multi-Mame. Go and copy all your .mlg files/the ones you want to another directory, and then rename them to the file extension of your other mame emu. You can find this extension by going back into the game list editor, selecting the emulator (really the other version of mame - for example, I'm using FX so it's named that) you're wanting copy game lists for, and go to File>save. It'll show you in the 'save as type' what extension that version is, and then you rename all your copies to that. Then put those back into the MaLa directory.
