Pixelhugger is in the process of making some final tweaks to the illustrator files I sent him; getting them ready for the mint. So I imagine we're getting close to end here.

Update.

The 2007 tokens are expected to arrive the first week in December.  I hesitate to mention it because it seems to good to be true, but the woman at the mint thinks she can get an exception for me so I can order 5000 Nickel instead of the usual 10000 minimum.  Cross your fingers she can really get it done.   If so, everyone will be happy.

I also ordered some Brass MAME tokens and Brass 2006 BYOAC tokens.    The store should be pretty well stocked with Brass through the spring. 

I sent personal notes from the store to the pre-orderers,  but I wanted to publicly thank everyone for thier patience with the process.  I have been really very busy at my day job and it was hard to make time to do all the pre-work and coordination in a timely manner.  I promise we will start much earlier in 2008 so that we aren't delivering tokens when its almost 2009!

Just got this email:

"Just an update on your order for 2007 BYOAC tokens.

The bulk order has gone in to the mint and we expect to have delivery of the tokens here the first week in December. After that it will be a few days to get all the order shipped.

I wanted to say a personal 'thanks' for your patience during this process. It always takes a while, but due to busy schedules here, this year was even longer than usual. I am certain the tokens will be worth the wait.

I second this.  This is by far the most friendly and sensible message board on the entire internet mostly due to the awesome people that support this hobby such as yourself.  In fact, it's so classy that I think we could install crystal chandeliers and plush red velvet carpeting. 

Looking forward to getting some of the 2007 tokens, I always procrastinate ordering these and then they are gone.

In short, they look great.  

As usual the photos show more details than the naked eye.  In person they look clean and smooth even though the photos show minor blemishes.

Sorry, I must have missed that at first. I put in my order pretty late and didn't think there was a nickel option.
If you've got enough nickel and I could switch the order to 100 brass and 100 nickel that would be awesome!

   I'm trying to figure out what will happen for my order. I had originally ordered nickel with no substitutions and was informed that it was brass or nothing at a later date. I agreed to switch so minimums could be met. Am I back to nickel at this point or do I have to order more ?
