8 liners
« on: September 27, 2007, 02:39:53 am »
is the overall setup for an 8-liner the same as an arcade cabinet.  i guess what I'm asking is, could i basically take a Mario or street fighter cab, pop out the jamma board, and then pop in a fruit bonus '97 board and play?   with a little button changing of course.    any ideas?

thanks

I think they generally have a different type of connector on them than Jamma.  The ones I've seen were a much larger connector.

No, 8 liners have their own wiring standard. Their harness is much different than Jamma. You'd have to buy an 8 liners wiring harness.
