advanced mame cd error 19

hi im using my laptop to run advanced mame cd it has vga out and tv out but comes up with error 19 video board not supported  :dizzy: can anyone help i have it pluged into a j-pac thanks alot

I guess it depends on the video chip set in your laptop.   Do you know what it is and is it in the list of drivers supported by Adv Mame?

im running Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family but cannot find a driver if anyone can help

I believe advance mame is not being developed any more,  i could be wrong though. 

advance mame uses the linux framebuffer video drivers so unless your chipset has a driver in the kernel that advancecd uses you are probably out of luck.    you may be able to update to a newer kernel, but that is not very easy, especially on a bootable cd distro.
