I'm 90% done with my cab! But...
« on: March 20, 2002, 05:48:50 pm »
I've got everything wired up and working for the most part, just need to mount it in my cab.  However, I can play metal slug, yet when I try to run metal slug 2, advmame craps out with 'Unable to start video emulation'.  The same thing happends with metal slug 3.  KOF 2000 'works' but when it loads up, the screen just displays somewhat random broken horizontal lines, kinda like what happens with a dirty/not-entirely-connected jamma connector on a normal pcb.  This really seems odd to me as I was checking the resolutions of Metal Slug/KOF2000/Metal Slug 3, and they're all the same.  I know my roms are good because I tried them on my other pc before copying them over.  Anyone know how to fix these problems?

BTW, A week old pic of my cab is up at:

Thanks,

How much RAM do you have?  Some Neo Geo games need about 256 I believe.
