MAME vector games look DIM on my TV screen!! (S-VIDEO)
« on: August 06, 2007, 06:11:21 pm »
What MAME settings could I try to improve the visibility of vector games on the 27" SONY TRINITRON TV I use as monitor in my cabinet?

The game is there, but looks VERY DIM and almost invisible.

I somehow recall vector thickness/etc settings from when I first played with MAME years ago... Am I doomed to never enjoy a good ol' asteroids on my TV screen, or do you have the solution to my problem?

Thank you for your help!

Should be this in your mame.ini
#
# CORE VECTOR OPTIONS
#
antialias                 1
beam                      1.0
flicker                   0

Set Beam to be thicker...
