Keyscan Speed
« on: July 24, 2007, 02:55:02 am »
I want to play Track & Field, but I think the keyboard scan speed is too slow to get my guys up to maximum speed, any ideas. I am using ipac4 :(

To test whether it is keyboard scan speed, or repeat delay, or whatever, and not your button pressing; have you tried setting the first and third buttons to auto (using the in-game tab menu) and holding them down in succession?  This test should prove whether or not your keyboard repeat rate (or your encoders repeat rate) is fast enough to achieve maximum speed and isolate the players' skill.  If so, do you get a bad result?

(using the in-game tab menu)

1. press the 'Tab' key (on your keyboard) after your game is loaded.
2. use your keyboards arrow keys to select autofire setting and press your keyboard's Enter (or Return) key.
3.  from the autofire setting screen you can toggle each button's autofire on and off.
