Getting back to work...
« on: July 12, 2007, 04:44:27 pm »
Well over a year ago I bought a cabinet w/ monitor, ipac4, optipac, arcadevga, and all my controls. I even started dismantling the cabinet. Then I fell in love, got married and had a kid ( :applaud:), and my cabinet work stopped.

My question to everyone new is:

What is new in BYOAC world? (Trends, FE, etc...)

Is the HW I have still up to date?

Well if you just had a kid, then it sounds like your HW is ok.

Sounds like the hardware should be fine. Probably the biggest change these days is all the products available to make your cabinet full of blinky lights.

There have been new products by GroovyGameGear and Ultimarc and even Happ now has translucent buttons.

Front-end-wise it looks like MaLa has pulled ahead having more support for blinky lights.
Brevity is not my strong suit.

Yeah I am happy that I didn't buy the trackball yet... I really like the multi-colored trackball from groovy gear. The circle neon ring on the sides of cabinets make the cabinets look really cool.
