Hopefully you have heard about "Game On", the history of video games exhibit at the Barbican art museum in London. It looks really cool, especially if you live in or near London:
http://www.gameonweb.co.uk/What you probably not have heard is that they have what could be the worlds first "legal" MAME machine.

Apparently, they could not get the real cabinets of some vintage games, so they decided to use MAME to show off these games instead. They received official permission to use the following ROMs:
- Phoenix, Taito, 1980
- Space Panic, Universal, 1980
- Galaga, Namco, 1981
- Amidar, Konami, 1981
- Scramble, Konami, 1981
- Frogger, Konami, 1981
- Burgertime, Data East, 1982
- Donkey Kong Jr, Nintendo, 1982
- Mr Do!, Universal, 1982
- Moon Patrol, Irem, 1982
They are using a Cyrix 366Mhz based PC hooked up to an I-PAC and then to a projector (2m projection). The controls are from a company called Suzo. <shamelss-plug>They are also using Game Launcher as a front-end. <shameless-plug/>
So, go check it out! And snap a few pictures of Game Launcher on a big screen for me.
