BYOAC icon needs to be better
« on: July 08, 2007, 10:55:30 pm »
Just came across this site for use with a iPhone and I tested it out.  Can someone make a better icon for this?  You have to test it out to see what I mean.  Click the plus sign on the iphone and add arcadecontrols.com to see what I mean
http://appmarks.com/site/

I don't have an iPhone yet but thinking about it

I b**ch. People listen!!

it appears that they pull the little icon next to the hyper link... I think you're going to find a lot of sites that will look bad on the iPhone....

Step 1

Design a 56px x 56px png icon for you webapp and place it at the root of your domain as the file 'appicon.png'. For example, if your domain is example.com, place the icon so its accessed at "http://example.com/appicon.png". If you don't have an appicon.png file, AppMarks will use your site's favicon.ico. And, if you don't have either appicon.png or favicon.ico, then AppMarks will use it's own generic icon. (Coming soon: support for specifying the app icon via a <link> tag in your html/php.)
