This is looking so great !!!

Let's hope Nin-ten-doh or Nam-co are not listening in......

I bet this will be protected, this guy probably don't want it to run on Mame I guess.......although it's probably pointless to protect it......

This might be a reason to re-convert my Mario Bros. back to a Kong........

I have a Double-DDK right now so I won't be going this route, but I also have a Nintendo VS cabinet and a DK board set and... Hmmm Hmmm....

So, will that guy be doing a new art set as well ?

If you're going to name it Donkey Kong II, a new art set might as well be designed !!!
This would make it much like the original Nintendo "upgrade"sets, like going from DK to DKjr or Popeye.

Maybe we can have a "contest" here ?

We would need a marquee, side- and kick art and CPO. Even if no-one will be actualy using it on his cab, it's still a fun idea to see what people here can come up with !

It's called D2K not DK2.......  I don't think there's enough change to merit calling it a sequel.

Hell, I just the other night found out there was a sort of interlude and fourth screen to DK Junior. Not that into DK as a kid, I'm way stoked, now. Mame support would be nice.

...only thing is, on closer inspection, it looks like the ladders would have to move around (like in Vectrex's Spike), though whether this would be automatic or player-controlled who knows.
