Mala- Adding Video to Layouts?

ok- playing around with the Alien & Blue layouts. I want to add video instead of the snapshots. I turn on the video option, line up the square into position, and save it as a new file. When I start Mala, the functionality works (menus, selecting games, video previews)- but I've lost all the graphics of the layout. It's just black with the text, videos and whatnot showing. What am I doing wrong?

At at guess you saved you modded layout with a new name.

By default MaLa looks for graphics for the layout in a subfolder with the same name as the layout...

ahhh- you're right!  I already knew that, too!  I just forgot about it... moron. Let me try that, but I'll bet it fixes the problem...
