I know. I could have swore I turned it off. At the least, I made it so it would at least alert me before doing anything. Still, every once in a while I'll come into the office in the morning and my computer will be restarted after a windows update. Even rarer, the window will pop up that says "Windows will automatically shut down in xx seconds to update".

EDIT: I just checked and indeed it was set to "notify only when an update becomes available." Apparently, microsoft thinks that is only a recommendation instead of an order.
