hi!

My Bartop is not finished but in an advanced stadium. so i need some artworks for it.

a friend of mine will print me the Mario Bros side art on a 45x40 sticker.

i need a marquee and i want to use the two Mario and Luigi paintings for that:

in the middle should be the name of the Bartop (which i dont have yet

) in the font of the Mario Bros Cab.

the marquee will be 45cm x 7cm (not very tall - i know ^^")

does someone have an idea about that? the bartop will be in red with black here and there.

a second question. the CP will be black painted MDF wood do you think some stickers will look good? i think about the turtle and this red crab, perhaps the firefly

what do you think?

Ok took a look at a mario bros marquee. It is sort of a rounded modern stencil.

i want to make the marque look like the side art. but i REALLY have NO grafic skills.

is it possible for someone to make a better one? mine looks absolute crappy.

Here is one I put together -

You'll notice Mario Bros. isn't centered - is this a problem?

I might as well warn you that I only did this because I like Mario Bros. I'm not in the habit of doing art for others. I won't be able to dedicate much time to adding any tweaks or anything. Let me know what you think -

Also, I took some liberty with the letters. I always thought that marquee needed some embossed/contouring on it. I added a little effects.

If you like it - I can put a black border around it so it'll fit your marquee area. Right now it's 45cmx7cm.

I'll need to send you a high res version of it if you like it.

is it possible to add a little bit yellow to the left and right? as it is on the side art? i think that will make it perfect

I don't think there is a good way to introduce the yellow without rethinking some other components. I put some on the sides, but it doesn't flow very well to me.

This isn't high res - I'll need to send you the high res version. If you have a place to upload it. If you print that - it won't look very good. It'll be pixelated.
